Master of Science in Health Informatics Information Session

Join us for an after work program for prospective students interested in the Master of Science in Health Informatics.  Conversation will be led by Daniel Feinberg, Director of Northeastern University's Health Informatics Graduate Program.  The MS in Health informatics degree draws on the expertise of both the College of Computer and Information Science and Bouvé College of Health Sciences to provide essential education for:

  • Health-care professionals who need the technical knowledge to take on new responsibilities
  • Computing and IT professionals who need to understand how to apply technology in a health care environment
  • Career changers with a bachelor’s degree but no prior experience in health informatics 

Mr. Feinberg will be leading the discussion of the program whose objectives include:

  • Gain an understanding of how information technology, people, health, and the health-care system interrelate
  • Learn how to use information technology and information management concepts and methods in health-care delivery
  • Develop the capacity to facilitate communication among healthcare practitioners, administrators, and IT professionals—and recognize the needs and constraints of all sides
