October — November | Virtual & On-Campus

Break into Tech events

Learn how to jump-start a career in tech—without a tech background.

About the Events

You don’t need a background in tech to have a future in it. Technology thrives on new, diverse, and unexpected ideas—it needs new perspectives.

Break into Tech—and learn what an algorithm is, how real-world data can be represented, and how your point of view can change computer science or solve a real-world problem through data science. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm.

When you attend Break into Tech, you will:

  • Experience computer and data science in action, and see how it applies to your everyday life.
  • Participate in a mini project where you can collaborate with others and discuss diverse perspectives.
  • Learn more about the Northeastern University Align program.

Please note, participants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be nearing college graduation to participate.
