Do you know a motivated individual who is looking to break through? Someone who already has an associate degree or some college credits, but needs a bachelor’s degree to get to that next level? Someone eager to be in a high-demand field?

If you know of such a person, we encourage you to nominate them for a Dean's “Break Through” Scholarship, worth up to $10,000! Please note, we have many of these scholarships available. You are welcome (and we encourage you) to submit multiple nominations.

Any professional - guidance counselors, teachers, mentors, direct managers, colleagues, human resources staff - may nominate someone for a “Break Through” Scholarship.

What else do you need to know about the scholarship?

Qualifications for Scholarship
To qualify for a “Break Through” Scholarship, the nominee must apply and be accepted into any bachelor's completion program (see below) within the College of Professional Studies.

Renewable Scholarship
Scholarship awards are divided over two academic years, starting first with the term you will be initially enrolling in and again one year later. In order to renew the scholarship for the second year, students must successfully complete 6 semester credit hours per term and maintain a 2.500 or better GPA.
