Earn Credits toward a Future Degree
Credits earned in the certificate program may be applied upon acceptance to a graduate degree program at Northeastern, including eligible MBA or MS programs—allowing you to further your education when it makes the most sense for you. You may apply credits earned during your graduate certificate program to an eligible master’s program for up to 5 years after completion.

Earn OPT eligibility
Once you complete a one year, 15-credit certificate program, you will be eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT) work authorization. OPT authorization offers up to 12 months of work eligibility in the US.
